The grief.

The loss of a loved one is something most of us have faced, to the ones who have not, lucky you.

Coming to terms with a death in the family is something so cruel and brutal for this beautiful world. One morning you wake up all well and good but the fragile, uncertain life hits you with reality, with the hard hitting truths. You say to yourself, 'My parents are really getting old, they might leave me all alone in this world. I will miss them so much.' Then few years, months or days down the line the same turns reality. It's hard, to not feel saddened by the thought of this, the thought of end. It's hurtful, it's killing and it is definitely hitting. But it is true. Something that is real and not false.

The thing is life throws a lot of valid/ invalid incidents for which we as a person decide how to move forward with. Such heavy grief, it can make you question your own sanity. But that's when it's time to be brave, to not kneel down to the demon. Instead be calm, I know it sounds dumb, but be calm. As one who calms the strongest of tides is the man choosen to be alive; Darwin's theory of natural selection. In such a situation if we lose ourselves, that might not be the best idea, but to learn to live in their absence is courageous. Not everyone could do it, maybe even not me.

Although life teaches you, eventually, slowly. You learn. And I hope I too learn to have that sort of art of living. For now, anyone going through such a pain striking emotion, there will be light. Be patient and calm yourself, when facing this overwhelming emotion.
